Summary of Position:

Through its market-leading financial management solution, VisitPay, an R1 company is using software, data, and analytics to transform how hospitals help patients manage their healthcare expenses. The company is growing, and we are seeking a Product Implementation Manager for VisitPay, our market-leading healthcare payment software application. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leading software implementation outcomes, preferably in a web-based environment. This candidate will ensure the success of concurrent implementation efforts by coordinating activities, information, and dependencies between Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams. They should be able to gather and refine requirements by working with development teams and client-facing subject-matter experts. They should be able to identify opportunities for process improvements, particularly around the interaction models within and across multiple functional teams at VisitPay. They will also partner with Client Implementation Managers to understand client needs, plan, and route work to the appropriate development teams across the company. 

 

Key Activities:

  • Partner with clients and Client Implementation Managers to develop and execute on implementation project plans, ensuring timely and quality delivery; identify project risks, issues, and provide solutions where applicable
  • Partner with cross-functional scrum teams to implement VisitPay with various clients
  • Gather and translate client needs into requirements for scrum teams, acting as a conduit between Client Implementation Managers, subject-matter experts, and Engineering
  • Analyze implementation processes to make efficiency and scalability improvements
  • Explain client needs to teams to solve and accomplish established goals
  • Create and maintain feedback loops between the implementation teams and leadership to drive transparency around project timelines
  • Explain client needs to teams to solve and accomplish established goals

  • Ability to quickly learn the product and understand the difference between existing and new product features
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed team environment, quickly and thoughtfully prioritizing work for multiple projects
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities
  • Experience as a ScrumMaster is a plus
  • Experience as a Project Manager is a plus

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Product Management or Implementation Management role
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline
  • Experience managing multiple, concurrent work efforts
  • Experience managing products in a B2B, B2C, or B2B2C setting
  • Understanding of and experience with Agile development processes and tools (Jira experience is a plus)
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to understand customer needs, identify trends, and feed those needs into product development
  • Experience leading product management and development teams
  • Previous experience in healthcare billing and/or consumer finance is a significant plus

  • This position is based in our Boise, ID office or remote.
