Reports To:  Senior Director of Platform Quality 


VisitPay, an R1 Company, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Manager to help spearhead our efforts of delivering a high functioning platform. The Quality Assurance Manager works cross-functionally with business leaders, analysts, product managers, and engineers to deliver an excellent product to our clients. 


  • Hire, manage, coach, and lead a QA team 
  • Create and review comprehensive test plans and cases emphasizing delivery of customer value 
  • Lead software testing and test automation planning and execution programs 
  • Suggest improvements to processes, tools and techniques used to test cloud-based web applications 
  • Collaborate with developers, release management, and production support teams 
  • Read, understand and collaborate on complex customer requirements 


  • Hands-on experience developing ETL/data integration solutions 
  • Experience working with large and/or complex data sets 
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills 
  • Working knowledge of SQL, OOP, and Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Experience leading a team of home and office-based QA engineers 


  • This position can either be based in our Boise, ID office or remote.
